The aster approach
Hello there,
I’m Claire- a psychologist based in Perth, Western Australia. I have had the privilege of working across many different settings with many different people, but I have developed a special interest in working with young women to help them thrive and adapt. The world is an ever-changing place, and now more than ever, women are faced with competing forces such as career moves, decisions about parenthood, and relationship equality that can be tricky to navigate alone.
I'm here to foster a safe, non-judgemental space where you can explore your feelings, thoughts, and experiences to gain more clarity about yourself or your situation. Sometimes, being able to 'air out' problems that you are having can provide you with much-needed perspective. Other times, you may feel you need a little bit more direction or guidance. I believe in working collaboratively with my clients, meaning we are always on the same team, but I uphold the belief that you know yourself best at the end of the day. This is reflected in my individually tailored, client-centred and strengths-based approach to therapy.

What I can help with
ON A PERSONAL NOTE…
When I'm not working I enjoy spending time with my partner, my boisterous Australian Shepherd, and my grumpy cat. Like many others, I don't see myself as fitting into one 'box'! I'm a huge foodie, love a good hike, and in my spare time you'll be finding me reading a really good fantasy/sci-fi novel.
